Weekend Wedding Bliss

This past weekend offered a beautiful setting for a Foundry wedding. With the ceremony held on site, the festivities were able to start right away.

The room was elegantly set with eggplant purples and navy blues with a touch of rustic country.

For cocktail hour, the guests were served passed hors d’oeuvres of Chicken Satay, Assorted Miniature Quiches and Caramelized Onion Quesadillas.

The guests were also treated to a stationary display of cheeses, dried and fresh fruits with a variety of crackers and pretzels.

With Chorduroy as the entertainment for the evening, the attendants were able to dance the night away with all the traditional wedding favorites.

We’re happy to have been a part of the new couple’s special day and we wish them all the best!

Arriving In Style

One of our favorite families hosted a surprise 79th birthday party for their father. The day was beautiful and the setting was nothing short of picturesque. Held at the family’s farm, this birthday was in a league of its own.

The guests were greeted at the front door with butlered champagne and ushered through to the lush backyard where the scene was set for one of the most memorable arrivals anyone at J. Scott has ever seen. The guest of honor and his son arrived to the property by helicopter!

After the grand entrance, the party was in full swing. Butlered hors d’oeuvres were passed to all the guests; Crab Fritters with Avacado Salsa, Forelle Pears and Roasted Butternut Squash Soup Shooters. The kitchen was set with a Harvest Cheese Assortment for guests to grab in passing.

Best wishes to the birthday boy, we hope you enjoyed your birthday as much as we did!

An Island Getaway…Right in Malvern

We gladly accepted the invitation to host an “Island Getaway” for a local business’s company picnic. Island inspired food and decor were a great way to pay hommage to a beautiful day and the end of summer.

The company also provided their employees with made to order smoothies in Tropical Mango, Strawberry- Banana and Mixed Berry. Each smoothie was topped with a festive umbrella!

Some of the buffet items included: Maui Ribs, Coconut Shrimp, Tequila BBQ Chicken Wings and Mixed Baby Greens with dried cranberries, avacado, mango and red onion.

To end such a fun event, the employees were treated to “Island Palms,” pineapple covered  trees with fresh fruit attached!

We are so glad they enjoyed their beautiful day at Radnor Hunt! We hope we can work together again in the future.

A Colorful Weekend

This weekend hosted one of our most colorful weddings yet! With lime green and royal purple, the colors were beautiful and brilliant at the same time!

Every detail supported the color scheme, right down to their delicious cake from Clay’s bakery.

With a wonderful venue like the Phoenixville Foundry, it is easy to pick any color pallette to suit each individual taste.  The tones in the facility are neutral and complimentary.

This couple was incredibly easy to work with and prompt with all their decisions, with the help of the mother of the bride, of course.

We wish them nothing but the best in their new life together! Congrautulations and we hope to work with their whole family again in the future!
